I had probably 6 shots of orange liqueur when I got home, took some doxylamine and went to sleep around 1:30, woke up around 5 and thrashed around for a while, so took an Ambien and Xanax around 5:30 AM, and was out of it til 9:30 this morning. The brain fog was from the doxylamine.

So no, it wasn't one glass of wine at 6 PM.

So she came over around 11:30 this morning after we both de-fogged our brains, and brought donuts. She picked a bunch of wildflowers in my woods and took a tour of my shop.

She likes guns and wanted to shoot my .357, so she did and I took a video of it.

She left around 5 PM.

My pinched nerve started acting up a few days ago. It gets really painful at times. Went for a therapy deep tissue massage the other day. That helped a little but it's very temporary.

Last time it acted up on me was 15 months ago. ~3 weeks of pain. 😖

I don't have any pinched nerves now, and haven't for years but nerve pain is not fun -- I've had it 2-3 times in my life. I had major neck surgery in 2011 and the pain from "irritated nerves" was freaking ridiculous -- even maxing out on hydrocodone for 2 weeks. It was so bad I even took extra doses a few times. I tapered off the hydro after that, but still took it for maybe 2-3 months in total.

I started smoking pot again after a quarter-century of abstention, and that helped more than the opiate. Opiates do help kill pain, but nerve pain is a toughie -- it's not like muscle pain or pain from surgery itself. Hydro worked maybe halfway for me. I don't think pot actually reduces the pain itself, but if you're mentally buzzed you just don't notice the pain so much. That's my conclusion anyway.

I'll post pix of Rene being here yesterday in a bit.

Hurts to look up or to the left.
Shooting pain down my left arm.

Happened ~5yrs ago.
I refuse to be put under and have an epidural through my neck and along my spinal cord.
About every ~15mos I have 2-3 weeks of pain.
Massages, acupuncture, cupping & electrolysis helps alleviate the pain during this time but certainly aren't a cure.
