Moles

Every year, my lawn is decimated by moles. Only one at a time but it's amazing how much damage they cause and over such a large area.

And every year, I set traps for the little ****ers and every year, it seems they get better and better at evading them. They trip 'em but the traps never seem to grab 'em.

Some times, I'm lucky and happen to catch movement in one of the mounds they create, so I grab my gun (usually my carry weapon - a .40 cal) and shoot straight down in the center of the mound. I've never missed.

Except gotta clean the gun over one lousy round!

Mix two tablespoons of any dishwashing liquid with a quarter cup of castor oil. Dilute the two tablespoons of the castor oil and dishwashing liquid mixture in a gallon of water. Spray it all over the infested areas.

I had them in my back yard in Winston-Salem. Then I rescued a dog. Her DNA included seven different breeds of terrier, the locals recognized her as a non AKC breed- rat terrier. Except she was big for that breed, 21# of pure terror to any small furry animal, and cleaned them out in a few days.

Chickens will take care of them.

They will eat the grubs that moles/voles eat. Then the rodents will die off or go elsewhere. Added bonus is that June bugs/Japanese Beatles will be gone, too.

Put a whole bunch of cat food, or chicken wings. Opossums will show up and fix things for ya

Your problem is not moles, it's the grub worms and other critters living in and under your grass. Treat the bug problem and the moles will go someplace else.
