Baby Doll had a lunch date with her former "gang of three" comrades in Winston-Salem today, and afterwards we went to Costco.

WTF is with parents/ grandparents hauling around their kids in shopping carts? I'm not talking toddlers here, but 7 or 8 year olds. This one old gal, I assume she was the grandmother, was hauling around this fat girl, and the girl was telling her what she wanted the grandmother to buy. They ended up ahead of me in check out, and the kid had to get out of the cart through the hinged back.

WTF kind of lesson are these adults teaching their children?

And the kids that were walking around the store- fat! Most of these kids had rolls of fat barely contained by their dingy T shirts.

We also drove through our old 'hood. This is summertime and schools are out. We didn't see one kid riding a bike, or throwing a ball, or swimming in the pool. We all know where they are- in front of a video game console.

If you think things are ****ed up now, just wait until this generation are adults and supposedly running things.

Not a Costco member, the SO was a Sam'c Club member instead.
I have since cancelled that membership as I don't need industrial sized
portions of stuff anymore.

Costco is the shit for this Millennial. I can get stocked up on dry goods for months at a time and their gas is usually 30-50 cents cheaper.

I only go to Costco for the liquor, I meet the wifey inside the big store when she gets to the register, as someone needs to pay, and that someone is always me.

I do enjoy the characters in the food court at the lower-end Costcos, that is a movie waiting to happen.

Unfornituely we have no Costcos in our area, so I have never had the pleasure of going to one! We live rural and do have 3 Wall marts with each at least 25 miles from our house. I have seen some interesting things there.

The most interesting Wallys in my area is right outside the city of "Amsterrico" NY. That name is commonly used when that city is mentioned.
