And your point is? I can fill my Vette from 3% to full in 5 mins vs. your 45 mins.

And really, are you a teenager who says "like" every few words?

Yes, but depending how many miles you drive per year, you may have to fill your gas car every week or 2 while I only need to charge my car at a public charger 2 - 5 days out of 365 outside of my home.

If it took me 45 minutes to fill my gas tank 98%, I'd be ready to kill someone.

1/2 gallon per minute.

How about if someone has a fuel tank at his house?

Now that would be awesome, especially if you had the ability to make your own fuel for free. If I could have a self replenishing (for free) gas tank at my house, I may just go back to a gas car..

So let's see, 5 minutes every other week is a whopping 130 minutes/year at a gas station. Filling yours 2-5 times/year is 90-225 minutes.

Math is hard.

As I pointed out, if your normal travel style includes food stops on a long trip, your travel time won't be affected much. The only impact would be a lower selection of food joints and I can easily live with that.
We have been travelling from Central FL to McAllen/TX (1350 miles each way) almost every year, some years even 2 to 3 times since 2007 with many different vehicles and every single time, we left early morning and arrived early afternoon next day, staying overnight somewhere south of Houston. We arrived the same time with the Model Y or Model X that we did with gas cars (Grand Caravan, Corvettes, Audi A4, Chevy Metro, Jeep Patriot and others)

I don’t have the ability to make my own fuel. But I will install a new diesel storage tank at my property. Making fuel ups less expensive and more convenient than ever.

Is your electricity free? Does it self-replenish?

Sorry. Nobody's buying your sales pitch. As long as you are happy with your high-carbon-footprint, environmentally-un-friendly, rapidly depreciating appliance, that's all that really matters.

It's not free but dirt cheap. 5 cents per kwh, so, $5 for a 0 to 100% charge.

If I had solar, it would be free during daytime if the system is big enough.

He has a small modular nuclear reactor in his backyard. Don't tell anyone.

We don't road trip any more. We do one trip/year of ~400 miles, otherwise we fly. And we don't do fast food or chain restaurants - ever.

I drive so little day to day anymore, I go to the gas station about every 6-8 weeks.
What do I win?

There are sit down restaurants at many Supercharger locations as well.. We usually make road trips when we travel to South Texas because we usually travel as a family (4) and flights to McAllen are between $350 and $500 most of the year and we'd also need a rental car. Usually over $1500 for flight and more $ for rental car at destination. If we drive, it costs us like $300 for Supercharging for all 4 of us. Right now it would even be free as I have 2500 free supercharging miles available, so, our next trip will be $0 for charging.
So, over $1000 in savings.

Yeah, we know. That's at least the 15th time in this thread you've told us that.

I don't give a shit why you or anybody else buys a car. Let me make it very simple, just in case you missed it the first time. If you race on the street... I hope you eat a f**king phone pole. Bonus points if you have it on video.
