I used to use Iron Out.
I am pretty sure it'll cause 3 headed baby's if you get too close to it but it worked. Ours was so bad the sump pumps looked like lumps of iron, throw it in a bucket with water and iron out, was spotless after. |

![]() IMO, you best course of action would be to drain the pool and have it resurfaced. Once the rust starts, you're not going to stop it. |

I have high IRON in my water as well. I changed my pool filter element from sand to crushed glass. When I fill the pool with well water, I fill it at the skimmer while the pump is running, so the iron is filtered out. After every time I fill the pool, I backwash the filter. Sand filter did a horrible job with IRON. Glass element works 100 x better with IRON.

No it's not, as long as it's used correctly. It will be significantly diluted.

![]() There are plugs in the bottom that you remove if you drain it. The theory is that if the hydrostatic pressure becomes too much, water will simply flow into the pool and not float the shell. That's the theory. I've had my pool drained once to have the tiles redone and I was nervous the whole week. Had the plugs out and no water entered the pool, but I was a happy camper when the tile guy was done and I could call the water trucks in. |

The pool is surrounded by the 12” stone wall, and the wall did settle but no movement after the first winter. It can be empty or filled, the rain water fills it quickly…. I’m going to scrub it off then rinse and empty. Then add some muriatic acid to the water. It’s even written on the acid bottle, for pool use. |

Determine the cubic inches of the water and divide by 231. There are 231 inches per gallon of water. And I didn't even have to look that one up! Mine is 38,000 gallons. Roughly 45' x 22' double-kidney shape. Deep end is 8' - shallow end is around 3'. |

Edit: mine is just a puddle as compared! I’m actually really pleased with this tiny pool. Very little costs and does the job. We spend our entire season with the kids and now grands. Pop pop cooks every Sunday! All are welcome |
