Me too excepting a high school game my uncle took me to when I was kid. He's a nut for any kind of ball sport. I played lots of them but watching others was never my thing.

I don't think that I can name a single professional athlete. To get our "fix", we go to college games, and never football because the crowds are too ****ing big.

Last week we went to a men's baseball game at Appalachian State. We sat in the 10th row directly behind home plate; the stands were only about 1/4 full so plenty of breathing room. Seats were ten bucks. Lots of pretty college girls in the stands. Beers were cheap and the food wasn't all bad. I could literally call balls and strikes. And it was a great game, 11-10 after 9 innings.

I'm out. Stopped watching basketball when they did away with the traveling penalty. Never knew you could grab the ball and take three or four running steps to the basket to dunk it before. Just a bunch of 60 IQ, illiterate hood rats these days.

Stopped watching football when they started kneeling. Haven't watched a game in five years and will never watch another again. Found out that not only do I not miss it, but I enjoy my Sundays doing productive stuff now.

We used to go to a lot of Red Sox games, both at Fenway and at least 2 trips a year when they were in Tampa/St. Pete. I was at world series Game 4 in 2004 in St Louis when the curse was broken.

But the current ownership has always been far left and they're infecting the game experience with their ideology and virtue signaling. Pre covid, the team announced they wanted to change the name of Yawkey Way next to the park, because WAYCIS. The street was named after a former owner, Tom Yawkey. Now they've gone all in with Black Lives Matter since the Summer of Saint George Floyd. Fuggem.

My last time at Fenway was a Billy Joel concert right about the time the street name change plan was announced, and haven't been back since. I don't miss it one bit.
