Most of the family had already left so my sis, her hubby, daughter and grandson were still there glued to the TV watching the coons run around.

My BIL has always been a BB fan and my sis was watching probably cuz she's a big lib and feels less guilty if she watches and grovels over the coons on TV. She had slaves before the Civil War apparently. My niece and her son, dunno.

I was there to be with family, which was all good before most people left. But i had zero interest sitting there doing that so I got up and left. My sis and niece said something about being sorry they ignored me but I was already heading out. My sis walked me to the door and said good-by at least.

When our parents were still alive (20+ years ago) this kind of thing NEVER happened. Nobody even had their TV on during "family days."

Sports are the only unscripted drama. Who’s gonna win March madness, what’s the over under for the superbowl, will the so and sos repeat as champs. Nobody knows the outcome until it happens. Vegas made an entire industry of it. Big doesn’t describe the amount of money fans put into it. Keep watching daytime soaps though. They have their niche too.

I don't care.

The only championship I watch is the Superbowl. I'm in it for the game (which often sucks) I don't bet, don't care who wins. A couple weeks later I don't even remember who played and who won.

My team’s been sucking for almost a decade. No championship this year, I’m already primed for the disappointment. I’ll still watch the game though because mUrica!

I like professional sports and support them with my remote control. I rarely buy gear. Pro sports are entertainment at a high level, nothing more, nothing less.

We used to watch a lot of sports living in CO. Now we watch very little TV and prefer riding bikes, hiking, walking the beach, playing golf together, and other things more healthy than watching TV.

I couldn't tell you who won the Super Bowl, World Series, NBA Championship, or much else last year.

Watching professional sports, like posting on CFOT, used to consume a lot of my time. Now neither one does and I'm good with that.

I stopped watching when Larry Bird unlaced for the last time.

I 'may' watch this summer when nbaERS take on the world, would be nice to see we are still the best at something.

BTW, if I were 3' taller I would have had a decent cba career.

I used to watch most pro football games on Sunday, but when they started that kneeling shit I turned it off. Now, I only watch the playoffs. Never watched ghetto ball either unless its played in the Olympics.

Don't watch any pro sports since they all have gone pretty much woke! Haven't watched a pro basketball game since I was a kid!
They're all pretty much boring just like most of your posts!

Bad Boys forever.

I actually had seasons to see the Raptors when Vince Carter and the Junk Yard Dog and Tracey McGrady were part of that team and they were the closest thing to the Pistons when they won back to back Championships. The key? Absolutely INSANE defence!! Super low scoring games and the protection of your own basket was a serious source of pride! NO EASY POINTS!!!!! Add to that, VC was an absolute acrobat - the skills that boy had - **** he was impressive. He did shit with the ball that would make Jordan stand back and take note. Then he decided to play like shit until he was traded to New Jersey after 3 years of dogging it. I canceled my seasons at that point. I also went to a game in NJ specifically to boo and curse him out. ****ing traitor.

Today, there's no defence in the NBA. It's lazy **** ball. Walk right in and toss the ball in. Take 3 pointers all night - who gives a shit? There's no defence anyway, so you'll get your own rebound. There's no pride in the game. And that cockwad Lebron is a perfect example of this kind of lazy **** ball. Boring and stupid. That's today's NBA.

Maybe, but the playoffs is a whole nother level. These dudes don’t play hard for 82 games and risk injury. Why would they. They’re saving it for when it really counts. Regular season basketball is shit.
